Revue Cover

The cover: The Handoff by Byron Ortiz

Happy New Year to you all and welcome to our fourth annual photo issue. Again it is our pleasure to highlight on our humble pages a cross-section of many of the region’s extremely talented photographers.

The only down-side of this venture is the amount of photographs we weren’t able to publish, there are so many to choose from. The only reason we weren’t inundated with even more of the spectacular photos we know are out there is because we inadvertently didn’t contact a number of equally talented photographers in time for this edition... so we are putting out an open invitation now for submissions for next year’s photo issue, and sorry we missed you this year.

We were once again very fortunate to receive total support from the talent pool that is called the Club Fotográfico de Guatemala (CFG). This group meets monthly and if you are interested in photography check out their website or contact them at: www.clubfotografico.org.

Our gratitude goes out to each photographer who shared a piece of his or her world with us, and we certainly hope our readers enjoy this selection of photos we’ve presented to start the new year.
